My name is Kate Wood and I am running for Albany County’s 5th Legislative District
Over the last several years, I have lived and worked in Albany as a social worker and labor organizer. I have witnessed firsthand the challenges most affecting our community every day — a housing crisis, rising cost of living, deteriorating infrastructure, and the struggles of working families, young professionals, and small business owners to overcome it all. Too often, the voices of the people most impacted by these issues go unheard and ignored.
